Best things heard during the House’s 13-hour debate over HR 3962.

Dave Camp (R-MI) told the House that “…the Speaker crapped this bill….”  (For the record, he did promptly correct himself to say she “crafted” it.  But we think he had it right the first time.)

Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI) astutely observed that HR 3962 is a “skidmark on history“.

Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) asked a question about parlimentary procedure before “we do this to the people“.

And the best tweet seen on Twitter, courtesy of BarackBorat:  “Today a healthcare debate is once-in-a-generation moment. Like Oprah pass up Ho-Ho’s or Barney Frank tells the truth.”

The 411 On Smoke Break

sb-top-hdr We simply count ourselves among the willing, led by the unknowing, who are doing the impossible for the ungrateful.  Having done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.  Hence, this site.
