They did this for the obvious reason, they were aledgedlly employing large numbers of "undocumented workers". McDonalds, along with Carl's Jr., Jack in the box, and Yaco Bell are responsible for undercutting the pay and leverage of legal US citizens in the restaurant field. It is amazing how a company such as In-N-Out Burger Can pay good money, provide benefits, paid vacation time, and hire US citizens and provide a much higher quality of food to the consumer at a lower price than the big fat slobs at Yaco Bell, Mcd's, B-King etc....
